Project Vigil is an academic project and a public resource. The commercial work it feeds into has a different name.

Waiven

Waiven is the enterprise workforce AI platform built on the open source foundation developed through Project Vigil.

Where Project Vigil creates free tools for individual workers — the Identity Card Builder, the Three-Option Framework, the Student Roadmap — Waiven extends that infrastructure into an enterprise-grade platform for organizations navigating AI workforce transformation at scale.

The thesis is the same at both levels: workers who own their AI identity navigate transitions better. Waiven makes that architecture available to organizations that want to be honest about what AI is doing to their workforce — and equip every worker for what comes next.

What Waiven Builds

Worker-facing tools — portable AI identity, personalized model recommendations, peer mentorship matching, and an adoption toolkit that works for AP clerks, warehouse supervisors, and data scientists alike.

Enterprise infrastructure — workforce impact assessments, department-level reporting, and governance tooling built for HR teams, Chief AI Officers, and legal/compliance stakeholders.

A consent architecture — workers own their identity data permanently. Organizations access aggregate workforce intelligence. The boundary between them is architectural, not a policy that can be changed.

The Differentiator

Every other workforce AI assessment platform extracts data from workers and gives it to the company. Workers don’t see the results. They don’t own their data. Waiven is built differently — because workers who trust the process participate honestly, and honest data produces better outcomes for everyone.

The three outcomes Waiven plans for — transformed in place, repositioned, or equipped to leave — are the same three outcomes documented publicly in Project Vigil. The honest acknowledgment that Option 3 exists is what makes both projects worth trusting.

Status

Waiven LLC is incorporated in Iowa. The platform is in active development. Early access conversations are open for HR leaders and workforce transformation teams.
